Ja Simpli compatibility with J5

Using JA Simpli for some time I am wondering whether there would be an update for Joomla 5; any plans or dates?
(trying to update to J5 causes a lot of overrides and losing some functionality; it is not announced to be compatible with J5 anyway).
If not, it would be better to switch to another Joomlart template (which is not as easy as it seems) due to being back in several functionality and security updates of newer Joomla versions.

Unfortunately, JA Simpli template will not be available to Joomla 5, it can support Joomla 4/3 only.

I have updated a website working on the JAsimpli template to Jooma 4 (4.4.3) at present.
It is a pitty that the blog layout does not work with JAsimpli on Joomla 44
But for the rest it works ok.
I have another website with the JAsimpli template which I intend to upgrade to joomla 4 as well, but this website uses the blog layout specifically.
As JAsimpli does not work with Joomla 5 anyway I feel that I am more or less obliged to go to another template therefore my question: which template would you recommend to use without the hassle of building the complete website again with the new template.
I would like to use this template for both the mentioned websites.

I tested this template but it works fine with J4, you can share the URL of this blog page of your site and the super admin account so I can check.

I also checked the code of com_content of Joomla and it looks like the column settings will be applied for Intro Articles only. I guess you're not setting to show Intro Articles so the columns setting doesn't work:

You can set the Leading Articles to 1 or 0 and increase number of Intro Articles, it will show correctly then.
