Error after upgrade to Joomla! 4.4.4 - 0 Class "JRequest" not found

PLEASE HELP! PROBLEM WITH UPGRADE!

After following upgrade instructions to the best of my understanding, I get message that the upgrade to version 4.4.4 is complete, and Upon logging in to backend, I get what appears to be v4.4.4 GUI.
But I get this error when I try to view the site front end: 0 Class "JRequest" not found
I have set config to show errors and debug to maximum, but get no further explanation for the error. I see many similar error questions in Joomla! forums, but can't identify any specific error.

Hi Walt,

The problem came from 2 third-party extensions on your site:

Content - Simple Image Gallery Pro (by JoomlaWorks) plugin
Content - Load Form Maker plugin

I temporarily disabled these 2 plugins so your site can work normally now.

Please check with the provider of these 2 plugins for the updated version for Joomla 4 + PHP 8

The site is showing now, but there are issues with editing content. Tor instance, When attempting to create a new article, I no longer have the option to specify video, article or event, and a more serious problem, I cannot edit videos. Some of the articles under the Videos menu item play as expected, and others will not.

After opening several and reviewing different versions in history, some videos that were working are no longer.
An example: the item Sarai's Story under Videos Menu was playing as expected, but after reviewing in history to compare to another video that is not working, it no longer plays.
And I cannot edit any videos, the embed url in the historical versions is not editable, and the edit interface is nothing like before.

Any help or guidance will b e most appreciated. Thank you in advance!

wkennedy I guess you're referring to the System - JA Content Type plugin which supports some content types such as: Event, Gallery, Video.

When I checked, this plugin was disabled so you did not see these options, I just enabled it again. Kindly check.

saguaros Thank you! I now see what I expected in edit function; however, after creating a new article of video type, it does not display. Additionally, when I attempt to edit a video article, it does not play after saving.

I apologize for the fact that I'm having so many issues, and very much appreciate your continued willingness to help!

I have a number of sites that I must upgrade, and hopefully what I learn through this ordeal will be useful with the others.

wkennedy I find that I can get the videos to play if I choose "other" as source and paste embed code. But now, the thumbnail is not displaying, (Sari's Story), and after changing size of thumbnail from 640x480 to 1080x600, the previous size is still displayed. It seems that there's just no consistency to how edits will behave.

Is there a source where I can see what extensions/versions are required, and any settings that I may have missed?
