Module articles caterory like configuration 13-more

Hello,
I've been trying to configure a module on the homepage with the same characteristics as the “13-More” module (image below) described in the Focus template documentation link.

On our website it would be the articles-category module with the title “CONGRESSOS TESTE” in the MainContent-3 position. Our idea would be to show the first three subcategories of the 2024 category, which in turn is a subcategory of COBERTURAS ESPECIAIS. Within the 2024 subcategory, congress subcategories will be placed as they occur throughout the year. What are we doing wrong in configuring this module so that it stays the same as described in the documentation, always showing the three most recent categories? (see how it appears below)

I think if we could also divide the MainContent-2 position into 3 positions - HORIZONTAL - one next to the other, we could place three modules there with the “news-6” layout, one for each subcategory of choice. But this position does not allow layout division by T3...

Great! But Is it possible to show only tree categories - the first tree ones - as during the year we will have more congresses and I would like to show the tree more recent ones?

Do you mean that you want to show 3 recent added categories?

Yes. the three most recent categories. As I said before, these subcategories are created throughout the year as conferences occur. Now we have 4 categories, each from a different congress, but by the end of the year there will be 8 or 10 categories. So, I think that perhaps it would be better to include a new row of module positions, with three horizontal positions. So, instead of a MainContent-2 position we would have, for example MainContent-21, MainContent-22 and MainContent-23, next to each other horizontally and there would be three modules, one for each congress. I researched how to make this adjustment to module positions, but I believe the tutorial is out of date because the template's file and folder tree is different. So I couldn't make this adjustment. Could you please show me how to do it? Thanks
Take the main-content-mastbot-1 position e turn it into four new positions, like in the picture below:

I added a new block called spotlight-2 in: /templates/ja_focus/tpls/blocks/spotlight-2.php

and loaded into the layout of template: /templates/ja_focus/tpls/default.php

You can put this line of code to the place you wish.

P/s: this spotlight-2 block loads some position such as: position-5,... you can create these positions if they don't exist now.
