Are these valid Guru Pro files? I get malware detected. Please advise

RSFirewall has detected what may be malware files inside a directory - here is an example. Not sure if this these files are a part of Guru Pro?

components/com_guru/helpers/MPDF/iccprofiles/CMYK/eci_offset_2009/__MACOSX/ECI_Offset_2009/._PSO_LWC_Improved_eci_info.pdf

Please let me know if they should be removed or if they are a part of your system files.

That _MACOSX directory is used by OS X (now called MacOS) to provide some extra information about the files and folders and serve no purpose.

You can backup somewhere and try to remove this folder.

I meant you can remove things inside this folder only: __MACOSX

Please forgive me for being too literal but do i keep the folder but remove the files inside? So the files/folder are not a part of your file system?

This __MACOSX folder doesn't belong to Guru so you can delete this folder 🙂

I suggested to backup files just in case something wrong only.
