I just updated the Module from 1.3.0 to 1.3.1 in a Joomla 4 website but then the popups did not show anymore and there where some errors in the console, so i downgraded to 1.3.0 to get it running again.

Uncaught SyntaxError: Expected ',' or '}' after property value in JSON at position 472 (line 1 column 473)

    fachwerkmedia Hi

It maybe due to the JS conflict, could you test this new version with Cassiopeia template on your site and see how it goes?

Hello, I have the same problem in J5 Cassiopeia and JA_Simpli template...

Uncaught SyntaxError: JSON.parse: expected ',' or '}' after property value in object at line 1 column 323 of the JSON data

      Hi guys

I can't duplicate this issue at my end in J4, you can share the supporting credentials of your site eg: URL + super admin account + FTP account so I can check directly for you.

Unfortunately I have now the same problem after updating JA Image Hotspot to 1.3.1 under J4.4.5 w/ JA Medicare on this live site: https://ekt-farmsen.de . Is there a solution in the meantime?

          Hi, fachwerkmedia
I identified the issue and implemented the solution on your site, and the module now works as expected. Additionally, please be careful when loading more than one instance of jQuery, as this can cause conflicts and override each instance. I turned off one jQuery instance loaded from Content > Category > Assembling Instructions.
Please check and let us know your feedback.

vangogh Thank you very much for the immediate response. The replacement of the both files
            /modules/mod_jaimagehotspot/assets/js/frontend-load.js
            /modules/mod_jaimagehotspot/assets/asset.php
w/ your new versions included in the above zip-file worked well :-) !
