PHP 8.1 Upgrade

Our service provider has told us they are moving to PHP8.1 so we need to make sure our websites will work when they upgrade
We use the University template on a lot of our sites and when we switched this one to use PHP8.1 we get the following error on a few of the pages - https://mgidbuilders.co.uk/contactus as an example

Deprecated: stripos(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($haystack) of type string is deprecated in /home/customer/www/mgidbuilders.co.uk/public_html/templates/gk_university/html/modules.php on line 85

We will need to do any updates/changes to a lot of our sites

Hi Rich,

If you have plan to switch to use PHP 8.1, I recommend you to upgrade your site to Joomla 4 as Joomla 3 itself will show up deprecated messages as above.

However, before you upgrade to Joomla 4, you must make sure that all of extensions on your site are ready for Joomla 4, our latest version of GK University is compatible with Joomla 4.
