saguaros, apologies that was my fault as I hadn't created the account in the correct tool. I have checked the login now and this works ok.
With the Joomlart template, I am unable to select the submenu from the main menu on the user's profile. If you move the mouse over the links the submenu disappears.

With the standard menu, it works as advertised and allows the mouse to sit on the submenu and keep it in view.
