Change webform required input to not required

Where can I change whether fields in the contact form are required or not? And maybe add another field?
Or do I need a specific form-component for this?

Hi Eric,

These are based fields in Joomla, you may also enable other built-in fields under Users Profile plugin. However, these fields for the contact form are not configurable, you will need to hack in core files to customize.

I recommend to use a 3rd party extension which supports more features needed such as: RSForm or you can check out more here: https://extensions.joomla.org/tags/contact-forms/
