I run a website on Joomla! 4. After updating my template (t4_bs5_blank) on May 17, 2024, and then again today, May 29, 2024, my web hosting company sent me automated emails warning me that their automated scans have detected malicious content in the file:

administrator/components/com_templates/tmpl/template/default_updated_files.php

They are asking me to "take action to remove the malicious code" and to change all of my passwords. I'm not sure what to do.

    You can download the default Joomla package and compare that file on your site with the one from Joomla package: /administrator/components/com_templates/tmpl/template/default_updated_files.php

    and see if there is any difference.

    Or you can ask your hosting provider for help to check as this is core file of Joomla, not from template.
