Basic site creation

Hi. Im just starting to use joomla, but it is sad to me say it is still not really clear how to "assemble" a website using it. I have installed the stark template and joomla is working (version 4). The startk template shows a very nice image in what it is suposed to be a homepage,

But I have not been able to setup my home page to look like that. I have tried some things and the site is looking like this:

I would really preciate is someone can give me instructions on how to achive my homepage looks like the stark example. By doing so I think I will learn enough and many of my questions regarding how joomla works will be answered.

Firstly, you can find the documentation guide here: JA Stark Documentation. This should help you understand how to configure and customize our template.

Sorry to bother. Template was installed, joomla looks like it is working, all installed. In the step by step instructions, what Im suposed to do in step 3, there are "confifurations" of modules, but where Do I find them, how they are inserted and where. Sorry, the exercise is not really clear on how to use the template, can you help me?

You can go to the Dashboard > Content > Site modules, and you can add the modules to the position mentioned in the Document.
