JA k2 Filter on our website has stopped working

Hi,

The JA k2 Filter on our website has suddenly stopped working for no apparent reason:
it returns syntax error:

3688: Syntax error in regular expression on line 1, character 1.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I currently only have the module displaying on the page /ja-k2-filter-test whilst it is not working correctly

The module is called: Speaker Filter
It appears in the website sidebar on the left of the page

(This ticket is an update of a previous ticket that I had mistakenly provided some wrong information which may have confused things)

The JA K2 filter is what we have previously been using, and I'm happy to continue using it as long as it works.

I installed the Mega filter once I realised JA K2 Filter was no longer working, but that seemed to have it's own different problem.

If JA k2 Filter can be fixed, I'll uninstall Mega Filter.

shandb It's due to the conflict between JA Megafilter vs the customization in template, our dev fixed it in this topic: https://www.joomlart.com/forums/d/49718-ja-megafilter-is-only-displaying-a-search-button-and-no-fields

If you have plan to update your site to Joomla 4/ Joomla 5, I recommend to switch to use Joomla content and JA Megafilter as K2 extension is not compatible with Joomla 4/5.

Unfortunately Megafilter is not working in the way that JA k2 Filter previously worked for us.

I have now disabled MegaFilter.

Is it possible to have this problem reported in the original post above resolved please? It would be ideal to figure out why Ja k2 Filter suddenly stopped working, and why it is now throwing a syntax error.

No. We have no desire to move away from Joomla 3. The website is too integrated with K2.
