Newbie: Installing T4 Framework and T4 Page Builder

Although I've been admin on a Joomla (3.x.x-based) website for a number of years, it needs to be uopgraded to a recent version of Joomla. The current installation was done for us, but I would like to explore setting up the new version myself, something I've never done before.

To that end I have MAMP Pro 6 running on my M2Pro Mac together with fully updated Joomla 4.5. I do have webspace set up, with the latest Joomla 5 installed, but nothing uploaded there. Unfortunately, at the moment MAMP Pro 6 cannot work with the upgraded MySQL needed for Joomla 5.

I have managed to install JA Purity 4 as a template on my local host, but to proceed further I'd like to install T4 Framework and T4 Page Builder. I have downloaded them, but nothing I have tried will install them. Could someone please advise me how it must be done?

Hi Mark,

If you already have Joomla + JA Purity IV template installed, you can simply download the T4 plugin + T4 Builder component / plugin and manually install via Joomla installer in Backend of your site.

Pls don't install the Quickstart packages as they are used for brand new website only.

OK… just in case you saw my last post that I have deleted, I have finally managed to crack it, and have the 3 plugins and the component installed. Now to start looking at the template and how to set about modifying it to our needs.
