ja good crash with the patch provided on upgrade joomla 4.4.6

Hi manhta I upgraded my localhost lab from 4.4.5 to 4.4.6 this nigth all worked fine

But when i upgraded the live server i get a crash with the message, unable to write on sql the message who was worring us month ago

Fixed by your patch

I’ve checked before localhost\components\com_content\src\Model\ArticlesModel.php

and it does include your tweak with

// $db->quoteName('a.introtext'),

// $db->quoteName('a.fulltext'),

I’ve renamed configuration.php to stop the server because the SQL is hamering the staff of the host and its late at nigth,

I am having a similar issue on Joomla 5 with a different JoomlArt template: my database is maxing out my CPU resources. I'm interested in the patch you used because my client's site has 80,000 articles on it.

What was the patch that calmed down the server and database?

Toolie You can reach out to your hosting for help to index / optimize the database in the server side. And remove un-used content / extensions on your site.

And depend on the view / page that you have issue with CPU resources, you can consider to optimize the queries of that page as well.

Hi saguaros, I am the hosting company: we use AWS and there's no one else to call.

I've read the threads (both on Joomla and here on JoomlArt) showing the query that slows everything down. I have seen your conversation with folamour where you and/or mantha provided a patch that commented out the introtext and fulltext variables. I'm asking for the same consideration as a paying member, that you provide the patch that solved folamour's site's problem.

I guess it's a hack for the core file of Joomla, it will be lost when you update new version of Joomla. So I still recommend to upgrade in server side.
