I'd like to make author listing pages (customised as Peolpe Profiles in my implementation) for the groups Clergy and Deceased Clergy but somehow the menu links only lead to one group and can't pick from the other.

I got your point but at this moment, it appears that the author view in T4 supports to retrieve authors from a group only.
I need two separate links/pages, each leading to a different group
For example
Clergy - https://update.archdioceseofmbarara.org.ug/about/clergy/priests Deceased Clergy - https://update.archdioceseofmbarara.org.ug/about/clergy/deceased
Ok, no clever workarounds for this?
