Hello!

I would like to ask for your help. I updated my website, mesefarm.hu, from Joomla 4 to Joomla 5. The update went smoothly. However, I encountered a few issues that I don’t know how to resolve.

I can’t update the PHP version from 8.1 to 8.2.
The mesefarm site is currently locked, and everything seems fine. All the images, articles, and videos are in place and working well. However, when I open the site, it becomes inaccessible and shows a 500 error.
Could you take a look? This is beyond my expertise.

greetings:
Janos

Hi Janos,

It seems you've switched back to PHP 8.1, as I'm no longer seeing the same error on the front end of your site.

It appears that some parts of your site may not yet be compatible with PHP 8.2. If possible, please switch back to PHP 8.2 so I can replicate the issue and assist you further.

Best regards

      Hi, turkasz
Would you please check the admin site again ? Currently, I can't access to the admin page to take an backup file, the error is www.mesefarm.hu redirected you too many times.
      Regards,

        vangogh

Hi! Nothing has changed on my end. Both the admin and the front page are displaying correctly.

          Hi, turkasz
The error caused by missing some php extensions. Now, your site is working well with php8.2
Please conduct test again and response to us.

          Regards,

            vangogh
Thanks! However, as soon as I made the site visible to the public, the error appeared on the main page. The admin section is working fine now. I’m going to restrict access to the site again while you're working on it, so don’t forget to make it public again for testing.

              Hi, turkasz
Currently, I see the site is working well with php82 on Chrome, Firefox and Safari as well.
Would you please guide me again to set the site public again for testing ? I am quite not sure how to do that, I have just switched the PHP version and see how it goes on the site.
              Regards,

                vangogh

Hello! Unfortunately, it's still the same. I opened the page, so now you can see it too.

                  Hi, turkasz
The issues caused by a JCH Optimize code compiling process. Please report the error to JCH team.

Beside that you can disable JCHoptimize component to make your site work through with php8.2

                  Regards,

Thank you very much. You're awesome!

                  Best regards,
                  János
