pv-nl I want to show this on homepage. sliding latest news articles.
Every article is created in editor with title and image(s)
I set the image option to 'show first image of articles'
So I hoped this would show the first image of my news article in the NSP module.

Having replicated the same at my local install, The thumbnail image from first article image in respective articles from data source is being shown as envisaged from module settings

Can you also upgrade the user access level provided in edit fields to super user in order to examine further as there are some tabs not being shown such as system information, Global configuration e.t.c

Also, Kindly provide the ftp details in edit fields too

aman204 Sorry but I don't know what access you need more than admin?
Recently all (template and modules) are updated.
Is it ok to uninstall nsp and install again without losing my settings?
Are you using regular joomla articles or k2? and in what language, had some issues before which were cause by language setting.

    Thanks,
    Pascal

    Hi Pascal,

There seems to be issue with the option 'Use first image article' for thumbnail image from Joomla Articles. I've shared with the team for further checking on this.

My recommendation is that you should add images for articles via 'Images and Links' tab in article settings. From Joomla 3, all extensions prefer to get images from this tab.

saguaros Hi, I did try with this settings and this works. But I need to add extra images to all my articles and these are also all published at the top of the articles full size. This doesn't look nice and is confusing for visitors. Hope there will be a fix for this soon.

      Pascal

I will get back to you when having news on this.

        Hi,

I got the feedback from the dev team that in order to use that 'Use First Image in Article', you need to add image inside the intro text of article (before the 'readmore' button): http://prntscr.com/kf3fic , not the image in the full text part.

        Regards
