Please don't edit anything but nsp gk5, let me know what the problem can be.

pv-nl just added the admin details to fields, are these NOT visible to others?

The information being provided in edit fields would be encrypted as stated in other forum thread so no worries 🙂

Kindly add the extra login details too as needed after entering the admin details for accessing the admin panel which is needed as configured by you

I don't understand, I provided the admin login to access the backend? what more do you need?

If you use the url and login as provided above you can login as admin.
Just checked this again without a problem.
The printscreen is not the regular login.

        Hi Pascal,

I tried to login in Firefox and it works.

I checked the module settings and saw that you set to show first image of articles: http://prntscr.com/kcnzl6 However, in articles from selected categories you selected in module, there is no image inside article content. I've just set to show Intro image instead and the image is showing now.

For article which doesn't have image now, you can edit that article in backend > Images & Links tab and add image for Intro image.

        Regards

chek you image come from where? intro_image or Full-image or first image in article

wow....I set this to 'Use first article image' so no matter what I should pick the first image from article? Doesn't this work? No I have to add extra images to every article?

          Thanks,
          Pascal

pv-nl I am unable to access the admin panel page due to extra security layer added and similar admin details arent working for the extra htaccess login. Kindly review

Also, Can you kindly elaborate as to what you wish to derive exactly so as to avoid confusion or ambiquity in addressing your query

Hi, sorry but I don't understand why you can't access?? try firefox (as saguaros did).

              About the issue with the NSP images;
I want to show this on homepage. sliding latest news articles.
Every article is created in editor with title and image(s)
I set the image option to 'show first image of articles'
So I hoped this would show the first image of my news article in the NSP module.

Right now I need to add 'extra image' to my article option 'images and links'.
These are also published at the top of each article, so now it starts with 2 equal images.

I hope this explains the issue that needs to be solved.

ps as mentioned before I still don't recieve any mail notification if this topic is changed!

Hope both can be solved soon.

              Thanks and regards,
              Pascal

                Hi Pascal,

When I unsuccessfully tried to access the site yesterday I thought it was me but as with Aman i can't get past the htaccess screen

I'm not sure why Saguaros can unless he accessed the site via a different thread that way and the site access is cached

I contacted the host, you can use login and password as described in firefox popup (antagonist).
                Seems an extra security layer.

Could you also check why I don't receive mails on this forum?

                Regards,
                Pascal

Having replicated the same at my local install, The thumbnail image from first article image in respective articles from data source is being shown as envisaged from module settings

Can you also upgrade the user access level provided in edit fields to super user in order to examine further as there are some tabs not being shown such as system information, Global configuration e.t.c

Also, Kindly provide the ftp details in edit fields too

aman204 Sorry but I don't know what access you need more than admin?
Recently all (template and modules) are updated.
Is it ok to uninstall nsp and install again without losing my settings?
Are you using regular joomla articles or k2? and in what language, had some issues before which were cause by language setting.

                  Thanks,
                  Pascal

                  Hi Pascal,

There seems to be issue with the option 'Use first image article' for thumbnail image from Joomla Articles. I've shared with the team for further checking on this.

My recommendation is that you should add images for articles via 'Images and Links' tab in article settings. From Joomla 3, all extensions prefer to get images from this tab.

                  Regards

saguaros Hi, I did try with this settings and this works. But I need to add extra images to all my articles and these are also all published at the top of the articles full size. This doesn't look nice and is confusing for visitors. Hope there will be a fix for this soon.
                    Regards,
                    Pascal
