JA K2 Migration tool com_tags_error_unique_alias

Hello,

I m trying to migrate data from an old website K2 in J3.9.8 to Joomla. I 'm having the error
COM_TAGS_ERROR_UNIQUE_ALIAS
I understand that Alias are duplicate, how can i overcome this issue?

I m using JA K2 1.0.6

The error indicates the duplicated alias so kindly check all tags in 'Tags' component and Tags in K2 component and change the alias if there are duplicated items there

Thank you for your reply. i have no tags in Joomla and when I run following request i don't have duplicates

am i missing something?

Hello, issue solved; i had non latin characters that caused the issue. Now i have an other issue if you can assist me i have over 57000 k2 items and the migration seems to be stuck. It has been 6 hours that i have this screen

and when checking in _content i don't see the number of articles increasing. I think migration has stopped. however a good number of articles has migrated but not all. May be a session problem?

1womps1 Update: migration arrived at 12000 items and now each time i run the migration it adds 3 or 5 articles, it s very slow and will take me forever to do the migration. Any help please?

For site has large collection of K2 items, it will take time but it should be done after several attempts.

Hello, thank you for your answer, each time i run the tool it migrates 5 to 10 items and stops. Then i have to run again.. It s taking forever. Any idea why is it migrating few items at a time?

This extension is quite outdated now, please try to run it several times until all K2 content are migrated.
