Sticky header does not work correct in purity IV, overlaps with content

I am using Joomla 5.2.1, php 8.2 and Purity IV template.
On my website the header ist set to sticky. When starting to (slow) scroll down, the sticky header seems transparent and the scrolled content ist shown under the header. After some scrolling the sticky header gets its background color and behaves as expected.

Can please somebody give me a hint, what to do or where to search, so that the content and the header are not overlapping?

First image shows header without scrolling.
Second picture shows header with overlapping content after brief scrolling.
Third picture shows header correct after some more scrolling
