I'm a novice but have used a couple of your templates before. I would like to learn to use T4 page builder, but I don't understand the right way to set site wide colors and fonts like you do in a theme style. For example, I would like to set my brand primary and secondary colors, etc for my site and then add an element to a page in page builder and set it's color or background color to my secondary color variable.

I'd also like to set my header fonts and sizes (h1, h2, h3...) so that elements on any page I create follow the same settings. Do I need to declare brand color variables and put them in a custom.css file that I include?? If so, how do I set an element in page builder to use that color variable.

I don't know what the relationship is between the t4_blank template style settings and the page builder settings. It doesn't look like changing color and font settings in the t4_blank template style affects the frontend website. Can we use the template style to set other settings like logo, favicon, site name, slogan ...?

I played around with page builder and thought using page builder would be easier than trying to tweak a template to what I want, but I feel unsure how to make these basic settings.

Thanks for any help you can direct me to.

Hello, Pagebuilder (unless I am missing a setting that allows some form of global application of styling) is really only for creating content, such as Articles and Modules. In order to control styling uniformly across your website, you will need to set the individual element properties within your template or separate CSS file. However, you set element properties in Pagebuilder, they will likely override the properties set within your template for that specific element only.

This stuff isn't too difficult once you have played around with it a little and learn the basics - then you can build your understanding from there. Feel free to ask questions.

    Hello,

T4 Page Builder functions like other Joomla components, with its content displayed in the main body of a page.

To achieve this, you can create a page using T4 Page Builder and assign that page to a menu item. For the menu item, set the template to T4 BS5 Blank. This way, the header and footer will automatically inherit the layout from the T4 Blank template.

Let me know if you need further clarification!

    Best regards,
