Template caching files even though turned off?

HI Folks,
I turned off caching in Global Configuration. However to see changes I still have to Clear Cache within Maintenance. When I visit maintenance I see "page", "t4asset", and "t4core". I assume the template is doing the caching? How do I curtail that? Thanks!

These are overridden core files of T4, approximately five in total, so it shouldn't be too heavy

Hi Saguaros,
I'm not worried about those files, per se. My changes are not showing unless I go and empty cache each time I make any little change. It's a pain in the ***.
Do you think there is something else at play?

I believe it's from the 'page' cache, make sure that you disable all cache plugins and turn off cache in Global configuration as well
