We have 2 sites running Ja Property and they have both stopped running indexing the cron runs but nothing updates in the filter. Could it be a php issue we are using CWP as a control panel. we get a timeout in the error logs with an internal server error 500

You can try to create a new cron job URL and update the cron job on your server side again.
If there is still no go, you can reach out to your hosting provider for help to check the cron feature there.
