S5 Legal Lawyer template modules not displaying umlauts

I’m using the S5 Legal Lawyer template. The modules on the homepage are not displaying umlauts correctly:

The umlauts are displayed correctly in the title, but not in the intro text. This affects ä, ö, and ü.

Here’s a screenshot — you can also see this on the homepage of the website.

For example:
Shown Text:
"Bitte beachten Sie dass europ ische H ndler bin re Optionen bei europ ischen Brokern seit Mitte des Jahres nicht..."
Correct Text:
"Bitte beachten Sie, dass europäische Händler binäre Optionen bei europäischen Brokern seit Mitte des Jahres nicht..."

As I just noticed, commas are also not being displayed.

It's a bug in S5 Masonry module, you can backup these files and updated with attached file (unzip first)

/modules/mod_s5_masonry/helper.php
/modules/mod_s5_masonry/tmpl/_item.php
