Hello,
I have installed JA Multilingual Component on my local environment in order to test if this component works with EasyBlog 5.2.6 (https://stackideas.com/easyblog)

I have found one issue:
1. I press on translate button, and all content is replicated and translated.
2. When I go to the post manager in EasyBlog, there is the same post, without being translated, and replicated three times (because I have three languages installed on my system)
3. If I go to the EasyBlog frontpage, The posts are published and the title is not translated but the post's content does.
4. If I go to the Association Manager (in JA Multilingual Component), and modify the English post (the default language in my case), and go to the EasyBlog's post manager, then the posts are translated on their correspondant languages.

I am using Bing API.

Please could you answer these questions:
1. Can you confirm me if the last available version of JA Multilingual Component (version 1.1.1 available on the URL: https://www.joomlart.com/joomla/extensions/ja-multilingual-component) is compatible with EasyBlog 5.2.6 from stackideas?
2. I see that the last update was on September 15th of 2017, will this component receive new updates soon? If not, do you have an another Multilingual management Component like "JA Multilingual Component" which supports last versions of EasyBlog and Joomla?

Thanks.

P.S: my Joomla System info is:

    Hi,

EasyBlog 5.2.6 has been just released recently, let me share with the team for further updates on this.

    Regards

    Hi Saguaros,

Do you have any news about the EasyBlog compatibility?

    Regards.

saguaros Sorry, I can't share my credentials because I have installed it on my local test environment on a virtual machine. I have no site. The only thing I can do is to send you an .ova (VirtualBox virtual machine) file with my local test environment.

As I comment before, there is a workaround for the issue: to add a space in the text of the original post, then all post were well translated, so we can continue with that workaround.

One question: what is the last EasyBlog version is supported by the JA Multilingual Component?

        Regards.

          Hi saguaros,

I see that recently a new version was updated.

Please, could you tell me if recent versions of EasyBlog are supported? does the issue I described on this thread was fixed?

          Regards.

            Hi,

It should support the new version of EasyBlog, you can clone your live site to a test / staging site and try the new version of JA Multilingual

            Regards

            Hi,

The issue seems to be fixed, but if you open the translated post with EasyBlog, the translation will be loosen, and the title is translated but the content of the post not, even if you exit the editor without edit the post.

I did my tests with EasyBlog 5.2.9.

            Regards.

              Hi,

I forgot to mention that there is a warning message on the Translation Result part:

Maybe it is related with that issue.

              Regards.
