Sub Layout problem

So I am running jomsocial with 2 joomlart templates.
the landing/entry page is JA Mood on home layout and does not contain the component. But If members want to reset their password for instance... instead of then having a page with sub layout it keeps on using the landing page template...where nothing displays.
How do i get the sub layout to work?

Hi,

In Joomla, Login Form / Registration Form / Password Reset / etc... has its own menu item type. If there is no menu item of above types, when you click to open, it will open in active menu item page (as what happens on your site).

I just created a new menu item with type of Password Reset under the menu called 'My Menu' , now when you click to reset password, it will open the form under this menu item. Kindly check.

Note: I added the menu item in 'My Menu' menu for sample only, you can move to any other menu as you wish.

Do you have a default template style with the content area available?

Can you add admin details for the site?

Potentially you could create a new layout but there may be an easier solution but we would need to take a look inside the admin

paulus1031 I did create a new layout (a copy of the default, where the component position is available) but that did not work either

Would you mind also looking into the walls on the front end... Impossible to share links and uploading pictures or videos are showing errors too...since the updates.

A funny pop up came for a few seconds with the message: Walls marked as spam...???

So I switched off akismet for several actions on the site and now it works... Bug?
