ZT2 Filter behavior on iPad

On the page linked in the hidden field, on an ipad, the category filter on the home page does not clear the default story when another category is selected. Instead, it remains and the selected story simultaneously appears below it. Note: you need to use an actual ipad - the browser emulator doesn't clear the top story, and the next selected story doesn't (appear to) load.

It seems that you customized a bit here, I'm not entirely sure of which part you're referring to on the homepage. Could you share some screenshots highlighting the issue again and tell us how it should be? we will help you out.

Screenshot here. note - the default category (traditional, appears on load) does not get replaced, instead, it appears below the selected category. Also, the headline League Gothic font family isn't rendering, though that isn't the main issue (at the moment).

EDIT This problem is on iPad - it works as expected in desktop/laptop browsers

yes I see the same on my ipad - do get the same if you use protostar? e.g. that would remove any customisations made

paulus1031 Why would I use Protostar? I'm not actually going to use it for anything. Usually the only thing I do with Protostar is remove it. But if you want to toggle it on and off to check, you can try it - assuming it's there. Any customizations we would have made would be css - no overrides.

Anyway, this thing is going to go online in a couple weeks so we need to figure this out for the 20% of users who will see this on ipads. (Maybe more - it's a recipe site, iPads in the kitchen and all that.)

Hi Mike,

Protostar can be used as a troubleshooting tool as it removes any existing template from the equation especially any template overrides or customised css/less

Unfortunately at the moment you have it removed do you have a backup with it still installed?

Yep I use my ipad to follow recipes so it is a useful feature to have
