Home page article Read More doesn't re-direct

I have an article on the home page, on the right column. The read more link is supposed to take you to the page in the Hidden Menu called , 'Home page article'. The read more link is not doing that. How can it be done. As soon as you get it to work I will hide the Hidden Menu again.

I tried putting the 'Hidden Menu' link in the Read More link box but the link doesn't save.

Hi,

The problem comes from the configuration only. The 'Home' menu item on your site also has menu item type of K2 > Item and it loads the same K2 item as you use in hidden menu link. That's why when you click to read more, it keeps opening on homepage.

You can try assign a different menu item or point another K2 item for home menu item, it will work fine.

Okay, I'm a bit confused. Tell you why. In the attached screenshot the 'Hidden Menu' with the link in question is shown by the red arrow. It's still up on the site as well. When you click that link it takes you to another page, the page where the whole article is available. That link is what I have in the read more and it's doesn't work. Yes when you click it from the front page on that hidden menu link, it works?
So I'm confused.

So if the link works from the hidden menu, I don't understand why it's doesn't stay in the 'Read More' link window as shown in the screenshot. When I click okay, and then open it again, the url is blank.

As saguaros suggested I've pointed another K2 item for home menu item and it works properly now..
