Slide and menu problems after Joomla update 3.8.6

Since updating to Joomla 3.8.6 the image slide has stopped working and the megamenu will not drop down. I have also tried to update some of the JA components but the extension manager will not connect.TIA

I disabled JS compression from template settings , this restored your slideshow and menu features.

I warmly suggest to move your template oon the most recent T3 Framework version ( Ja university T3 ) to avoid other issues in next future updates-

I'm running 3.9.1 and My slide show lite also stopped working. I followed your suggestion and disabled compression and My slide show still is gone. Please help here is the link to my site https://www.grps.org/. pavit
