Thank for the info.
I just encounter this very same issue on a different site that also has the same set up.

I've been looking into this issue and realize besides the JA University template, I have the "JA Purity" template installed on that site and wondering if the error occur because of the 2 template conflicts? However, when I attemped to remove the JA Purity template, I got this error: Can't delete the last style of a template. To uninstall/delete a template go to: Extensions-> Manage-> Manage-> Select template to be deleted-> Select 'Uninstall'.

So I went under exetnsions manager and look for this template and is no where under the manager.
Not sure what else I can try? Please advise, thanks!

Could you tell us on which hosting is your website hosted ? it is a private server ?

All your issues on your website are coming from incorrect php settings on your server.

I can suggest some changes you can apply .

1) Lower your php version try with a 5 version temporarly , this should fix some errors , like purity template to be removed.

2) Temporarly uninstall your admintools extension

3) Remove all not needed tables from your database - leave only the ones starting with jbg25_ prefix

4) Remove all the not needed extensions tables from database - ( table jbg25_extensions )

Anyway these errors are not coming from Joomlart template JA_University - i also can suggest to hire a sysadmin to have all these settings fixed correctly.

pavit I know this same issue happens on site did not have the Admintools. So #2 shouldn't be the cuase, but I'll try the other things you sugguest. Question about #1. Which PHP is the recommend version for current Joomla 3.8.11 install? Thanks.

You can have your 7.1.2 after you switched to a lower version to fix these issues

Ja purity template is an old template not loading fine on latest php version

after you switched it you will see also your ja university working fine.

You can remove it via database with phpmyadmin from table jbg25_templates_styles and jbg25_extensions
and then remove the folder /templates/purity
