paulus1031 Yes, In global configuration I have changed the SEO setting.
Is the error log completely empty? e.g. no errors, notices or warnings? Sometimes errors can listed under the logs file or in the raw access file
A host I use sometimes doesn't have a proper error log as such
what did you change exactly?
paulus1031 In Global Configuration, SEO Settings I enabled--Add suffix to URLs--before. And did not do anything else. After making the changes I was able to login and make changes to the products. But again when i tried after sometime I was not able to login.
Any changes to htaccess file? or seo urls enabled?

Yes, the seo urls are enabled. No changes to htaccess file.
Nothing new enabled on the server? or updates to php or anything on those lines?
paulus1031 I am sure nothing was enable on the server and no updates were done .
Have you checked the configuration file to see if any paths are in there?
Take a copy of the configuration file before you make any changes
Have you tried swapping out your htaccess with a default joomla one?
