How to switch language on mijoshop template

I have successfully made my site multilingual. Most content works fine with the language switcher module.

However, I have mijoshop 3 component linked to the bookshop and the mijoshop 'account information', 'ordering', 'wish list' functions do not change from English into Hungarian. They remain in English. How do I change the mijoshop template language and link it to my language switcher?

Although I have the menu in Hungarian and English for the mijoshop account module it does not change to Hungarian. For some reason the menu doesn't have associations marked: I have attaached copies of the menu in English and Hungarian from the backend.

If you look at the site footer In English and then Hungarian you will see there is no translation for the 'my account' menu.

However, if you go to the menu in administrator you will see that there is a English menu which is associated to a Hungarian one - 'Az én szamla'. Nonethess it is only the English menu that can be seem on the Hungarian page.

What I really need to know is how I can get the mijosoft content that is linked to these menus to translate into Hungarian. When my customers are Hungarian they will want the checkout and account information in Hungarian and not in English.

Hi,

This due to the feature of Mijoshop, in all languages, it loads the same module called 'Account' in Mijoshop component so for each language, you need to create language file.

For example, if you're using Hungarian, you open this file: [root]/language/hu-HU/ahu-HU.com_mijoshop.ini (if this file doesn't exist, you can copy it from en-GB folder and rename it)

Look for these language constants:

Okay, so I've worked out you are specifying the program files and not the the php admin root!

So I have followed your root on my desk top to the zipped program files as follows:

C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp\Temp1_MijoShop_UNZIP (2).zip\com_mijoshop.zip\languages\site

and have accessed the site en_GB file and get this sort of thing:

COM_MIJOSHOP_ACCOUNT_EDIT_TEXT_SUCCESS="Success: Your account has been successfully updated."

I have copied the folder, renamed it hu-HU and changed the fields for their Hungarian equivalents.

My question is how do I insert the new language folder into the mijoshop program files on the website?

For example: /language/hu-HU/hu-HU.com_mijoshop.ini is language file for Mijoshop in Hungarian. If you have another language, you can go to the associated language folder of that language and change the same file.

If that file doesn't exist, you can simply copy above file to that language folder and rename it: /language/xx-XX/xx-XX.com_mijoshop.ini

xx-XX here is code of that language like: en-GB , hu-HU, ...
