Hmm, I mean the synchronization with the database of the component.
I have already transferred everything to the Amazon server, only when I enable the plugin it still serves the images from the old location, ie the server itself.
Also the component makes blank files, to still have a link to the file itself on the server (for functionality in a widespread of plugins), but how do I do this when I have synced the files outside of the component?
I feel like the component it's idea is good but there are so many use cases which are not covered and I find it troublesome to get it to work with big installations / large folders with lots of files... The documentation doesn't mention that large installations are not as synced as easy as small ones. When I synchronize small ones it works flawlessly, I see the progress bar normally and it gives a message when it's done.
When I have large folders this progress bar doesn't even becomes visible, it keeps getting stuck on intializing while it's already making the files blank. So can you describe how I can make this work on a big installation? How can I get it synchronized, in the component and the amazon server. And how do I get the blank files, or isn't that possible?
EDIT: Okay I used Transmit to synchronize which is very helpful and handy, but how can I now make it work with the website? That the component knows that the folders are synced and thus can use the amazon link?
