Yes I had done that. Sorry for the late reply.

I have not seen any difference, the images are still there, but the database is not synced, meaning the image url paths are not replaced for these images. Other images (in the images map for example are in the database and thus are getting replaced)

many folder contain 20k+ files.
And your bucket contain ~60k files
Website has limit working with that many files at once.

That could take time to find a best solution

Hello, I checked it out but there are still issues. So are not every item replaced, also the ones that get replaced are not loaded. It gets access denied from Amazon.

If i disable that specific profile the images get back. If you enable the media profile you see what happens and that certain images dont get loaded, and the ones that get loaded are loaded from the local server.

It's worked now.
It's because the profile disabled so the image should not work.
i enabled the profile.

This one is now not loaded. And the other images which do get loaded are loaded from the local url.

This is getting really old now to be honest. It's a problem that is over 2-3 months without a solution. It's not working as intended. And you keep telling me it works but if I look it doesn't. Please just tell me if this plugin works or not for my case, because if not this is all a waste of time and I could had it working if I just had the plugin made by another party.

I am disabling the profile now again because this website is live and I cannot have it that images are not loaded.

When you open the image link
It's get error
<Code>AccessDenied</Code>
<Message>Access Denied</Message>

It's because the image do not have public permission
You could go to your bucket find the image and set the image to public read
See the attachment.

If you open the image link and see the image
that mean you successed

I checked if the image was available and it did, because I transmitted via FTP the files.

Because the user request the image direct by url
So you must set the image to public read for everyone to view.
there no other way.
And that not relate to security or whatever problem.

Okay, and how do I do this? Do I have to go to every single file and set to "make public"?

Because when I set the image to public, the image is still not loaded via Cloudfront.

You could try to use this image in your website.

You could check all the object in your bucket and click to permission to set all to public.

Thank you I think it's working now. I will test and see if it keeps working for the next couple of days.

One other quick question. My bucket is now set on public, but other buckets are not set on public, while still working with Joomla Amazon S3 plugin. The installations are less large though. So why are these working right of the bat without the public permissions, while this large bucket is not working without setting it to public? Thanks

EDIT: Also the changes you made regarding the updating of the file list, what do I need to change in the current download from the website? I want that change also in my other websites I use this plugin with.

Hi.

You don't need permission of bucket to view item with public permission.
So if you have item with public permission. it's will work.

You could install this dev version.
