When i try to upload a .gif picture in jomsocial profile, in have this sentence :

Imagick is a native php extension to create and modify images using the ImageMagick API.

It is missing on your server , you should contact your hosting provider and ask them to correct this.

Is it now the use of ImageMagick API, because with an other project by the past i had animated .gif on the same server with jomsocial ?

Did you tried to enable it ? to see if it solve your issue ?
