We recently upgraded to the latest version of the JA Quick Contact form (2.6.3) as it seemed the previous version had stopped working. However, we now seem to be experiencing a new problem.
When using an e-mail program such as Outlook, if you click 'Reply' on one of the e-mails we have received through the contact form, the 'Reply to' address is not the address given by the user in the 'Email' field on the contact form, it is instead getting the information from the 'From e-mail' in the Global Configuration>Server. We have then tried clearing the 'From e-mail' in the Global config but that also does not work. When replying in Outlook it then says 'Root User <root@localhost>. We are using 'PHP Mail' in the Global config. We have tried uninstalling and re-installing the JA Quick Contact Form on one of our other websites where we have this issue but the problem persists.
We also thought this might be a cache issue so we have cleared our cache, restarted our desktop PCs, restarted our router, used different browsers and used different devices but the issue is still there.
We want it so that when you click 'Reply' on an e-mail received via the contact form on the website, the e-mail program (in this case Outlook) displays the 'Reply To' address as whatever the user that filled in the contact form put in the 'E-mail' field. Please can you help?
