Hi - I'm currently using build.r v5.0.5 dated March 2016. I looked for the latest version and it is listed as v1.x.x. dated 2018.
Am I safe to use this to update the site?

    ianpanorton1 It is always suggested to upgrade to latest version as the same comes with various improvements and bug/compatiability fixes

    You may wish to follow several tips provided here before ensuring to upgrading to latest version. Creating backup is always suggested so that you can rollback while facing any issues e.t.c

      Can you read from this bit and down

      "For this to work - you need to save the preset and the layout with a short unique name with no spaces or special characters"

      "Once these are saved the update does not affect these files"

      and as Aman said please backup the site first
