What's a good extension and template for a web developer?

I'd like some idea for a good template to use to show case my web development portfolio as well a good extension that acts as some sort of slider for screenshots of websites I've done, then when click an image you go to details on the site.

Last but not least, I have several articles and video tutorials. So I'm looking for extensions that will allow me to easily show all this on the front page. Any recommendations? This is my site now, it definitely needs a revamp:

Gazetta looks nice. Especially with the 'video' slider. That's really nice.

Are you looking at just Joomlabamboo templates?

Looking at Joomlart as well but I find the Joomlat very busy and intense. I like clean sites that are relaxing to watch. Yet the info is quickly conveyed. As a result I also like responsive from JB. In the end, I am open to all ideas.

I'd suggest using responsive inside buildr rather than responsive2 - it is newer and more flexible

If you click the home link you can see the template presets built into buildr - all the grids etc are zentools2
The tabs are either zentools2 or template custom html modules with module classes

I really do like what I see. I think I'll use this then. Can I use the concept of tabs on this template as it is presented on responsive2? If I could get tabs, I'm going to use this. Tabs will be a lot better than that pagination on the example.
