Vertex Updater (Update Vertex Framework vs Updating Vertex Template)

I have installed the Vertex Updater and works nicely with regards to updating the Vertex Framework. Is it also supposed to update the "Vertex Template" to the latest version ? I ask because after the upter was run the Framework updated, but the Template did not. In the past Shape5 would provide an "update" only file to update the template, but I do not see that available now so a manual update is not even possible.

Hi,

If there is new version of template you're using, it's better to update template also. At this moment, you can update Vertex via the S5 Vertex framework updater, for template, we have plan to integrate it with our JA Extension Manager component and you can easily update template via it.

Yes , I understand always best to keep templates and all components up to date with latest version.
Will the JA Extension Manager also support Shape5 Templates or only native JoolArt templates?
Any idea when this will be available ?

Yes, we plan to support Shape5 templates also. I'm afraid that I can't give you exact date unfortunately.
