This site uses the responsive template and I love the tabs, especially because of the image and intro text, https://tellannie.com/proto/. Does the Buildr teamplate offer this type of tabs and do I have to use K2 or can I use the default Joomla articles. K2 has a separate tab to upload an image, which shows on the tab and the default Joomla article doesn't have a specific place to upload images, so I'm wondering where do I upload my image if I am using the default Joomla Article feature so that it can show nicely on the tabs.
I want these Tab effects from the Responsive on my Buildr
Hi,
Our services, Latest News, Our Work from Responsive2 template are three instances of the zentools module using a grid layout published to the tabs position.
With the zentools module you can use k2 or default joomla articles (and other content sources), more informations may be found here:
https://zentools2.joomlabamboo.com/index.php/content-sources/k2
Cheers
Joshua
With most JoomlaBamboo templates you can generate tabs 3 ways
- tab position as Joshua said
- Using zentools2 to create fake tab look
- Use module classes inbuilt into the template
There are also zen kit tab options but that is using zenkit and k2

OKay so I had a look at the Buildr template postions and there are no positions called 'Tabs'. What's my next step as I want to create tabs just like https://tellannie.com/proto/? I already have an article prepared called "New Zealand Real Estate" and it's under the category "Real Estate".
Which one of those options do I use, 2 or 3. I'm going to install Zentools2 now. What do I do?
I have a zen tools2 module called Tabs - Main Page and I am in the 'Options' section, I don't see tabs. Joshua-M said, "zentools module using a grid layout published to the tabs position." but there are no tab positions on the template.
Paulus1031 said, "Using zentools2 to create fake tab look" how do I do that? I need help. I really want these tabs.
Do you want me to publish some content to the tab position row?
Cheers
Paul
Thanks. Appreciated. Yes please.
For the module Tabs - Main Page I"m not seeing any tab position row?
Hi There,
I've enabled the tabs position and published 3 custom html modules to the tabs position
Any module can be published but it does need the module title set to display

I'll give it a check through and provide feedback.
I haven't looked at the backend just yet but I would have preferred the tabs to be below the Home and following content. Is it easy for me to do that? So, Home, then some content, then the tabs. Currently, the tabs are the first thing following the menu. The tabs have to be under Home and home page content.
I tried switching around the containers in the 'Template' manager but things crashed. I have installed Akeeba Backup Pro. The top half layout that is by default on the Buildr template is critical for me. http://www.product-adviser.com/buildr1/. What follows after the menu is also critical.
My logo, then the menu as it is on the Buildr template and then, home page title, home page content and then the tabs. Can I achieve this?

I have removed the banner. No longer wanted. No matter what I do, I can't seem to get the tabs below the maincontent container.

In the Responsive template, the tabs pull data from articles or K2 items. I want this same functionality. So I need them below the maincontent area. Currently it's a bit closer to what I want. But now I've noticed that my home page article has disappeared.
I am not seeing tabs in the Zentools or Zentools2 layouts for the Buildr template. I'm beginning to think I should have stuck with the Responsive. Can I get the tabs layout like in the responsive or not?
I don't want custom html in those tab positions. I want articles, starting with the New Zealand Real Estate article@paulus1031#33218
I'm not to sure if to pose this as a separate question or not. It's in keeping with this same theme. I am seeing a tab position in the template manager layout positions but in the Module Manager I don't see tabs under the Buildr template? How come? This is confusing.
I need a quicker response. I'm raising a ticket. You can close this.
