Could not open update site

Have been receiving this message on every site I build now for a couple of months. Though it would be resolved by now.

Warning Update: Could not open update site #24 "COM_IJOOMLA_SEO", URL: https://www.jomsocial.com/seo_update.xml

Any ideas?

Hi sjberry1963

It asks for update of extension using that url, after joomlart acquisition that url is no more active, so you should download latest version from our servers and manually update your iJoomla Seo extension using joomla extension manager to install it.

After you updated it then messages will disappear.

sjberry1963 I've got this error too. I've only ever used the latest version. There's clearly an issue unresolved re the Joomla update component.

If you already installed latest version, in this case there is no need to re update the extension.
You can go to updates in Joomla and clear cache to remove update notification.

This is what I am talking about.

Not sure why this is so difficult. Maybe I should just get rid of the component and get rid of the annoying warning and conseuential incessant emails about how to get rid of it.

Sometime its cache and remove cache also remove the notification for updates.
