No option to replace Joomla core files

Hi - I'm having a few issues with this site and I want to replace the Joomla core files.

However, I see no option to do this in the Joomla update component - it just tells me I have the latest version, which is 3.8.12.

Am I missing something?

The latest version is 3.8.12 which is already installed as being mentioned by you and the same can be verified from here

If facing some issues relative to Joomla core configurations or settings/core plugins - modules - components, You can always post in Joomla.org forums

Looking around on the web I see several references to the option to restore core files - I've attached a screenshot from OS training.

Have you any idea why can't I see this option in my Joomla update component?

Best of luck with it I'd suggest check for updates in the joomla update component and clear any site caches
