Hello the styl of the forte template of shape 5 changed at the admin back-end.
Please look at picture what I mean.
How is this possible and how can I change it?

I just installed the forte template to check this issue and its showing fine at my end: http://prntscr.com/kpz1qf
On your site the issue is due to no language values is loading, It seems the language files is missing on your site.
Kindly edit fields in the first post and submit the site login details with FTP account details. So that i can check this problem on your site.

The template is updated to latest version, if there is custom work it would be override in update, i suggest you to restore the backup of site and share a staging site details where we can replace the file to check the cause of issue.

sorry didn't know what a staging site was, I don't have it and can't make a staging site. Is it ok to make a demo site in a subfolder?

You can install site replicate on subfolder and assign a subdomain to it, submit the new site details in first post > edit fields section and inform me here.
