override.css didn't work + update check not working

Hello,

I use the override.css file to override CSS.
But apparently this file didn't load.

And I use a Child Theme /wp-content/themes/News2-Child/css/override.css
But it is not working (and it is no working too in /wp-content/themes/News2/css/override.css)

Of course this option (Use the override.css file) is set to YES on the advanced template option...
So what can we/you do to fix this bug ?

dieudonne Can you also add your ftp details in edit fields in order for us to take closer look.
For reference, You can follow thread post (5 point) procedure.

Also, Kindly ensure to add !important which is quite necessary, at time, for css rule-set as shown below (example) in order to supersede other css and have the declaration apply:

#gk-top-nav{background: #000 !important;}

In this Updates section you can only check if the update is available and download the latest version from the link.

Hello,

I just updated the ftp fields.

And put the tag "important", but nothing change. Very strange...!
We want to stop the scale effect, put the right code in the override.css file, clean cache, but nothing change...

And it is ok when we select the "News2 - Child" template! Great!!

Regarding your (2) issue as mentioned, Have reported the same to JA Dev. Team. Please be patient while we revert back.

Regardless, You theme is already updated to latest version i.e.1.9.1 henceforth, no worries 🙂
