I need to display the sidebar on the pages of the store to insert a navigation menu for the products.

mateqo Try assign widget named Product categories to Sidebar widget area as shown in screenshot and thereon, you can configure specific widget accordingly

I have done this several times with a negative result.
Now I have done a fresh installation and it works.
