Cant get JA Login Module to operate properly

Hi - The website (using JA Builder is coming along now) but i am struggling with JA Login. The form that appears when you click "login" or "create an account" does not have visible action "Login" / "Create an account" buttons (but appear on mouse over). Also the forgotten password link takes me to a blank page http://lexopensource.com/index.php/author-login?view=reset. Any help greatly appreciated.

Try add this to Custom Styles Fields of JA Builder and change color code accordingly:

.jub-block #ja-user-login button,.jub-block #ja-user-register button{background:#000 !important;}

Kindly ensure to clear your browser cache if changes dont reflect

Also the forgotten password link takes me to a blank page http://lexopensource.com/index.php/author-login?view=reset.

Kindly ensure if you configured Sef urls properly as per documentation

Hi Thanks for responding - i dont have a custom styles field option for the page i am trying to change. This may be that i have set this up incorrectly?

My URL's are SEF friendly and rewriting is enabled. I appreciate your help - are you able to look at the site to see what i am talking about? No problem if you dont have time. Regards P

Hey - dont worry - i downloaded another login in module that has addressed the formatting issue. I just need to address the forgotton password or forgotten username issue.

Hi I have been on the Joomla forums and they said that they dont beleive this is to do with the seo settings which they beleive because when i turned seo off i now get the proper url: http://[websitename]/index.php?option=com_users&view=remind&Itemid=101 but still is blank - they beleive it is something to do with template (override) or JA_Builder.

They also questioned Ask why the pages are not showing with SEO disabled. Does this help? are you or any other moderator able to help?

@aman204 i really appreciate your help but the site is supposed to be going live tomorrow - is there any paid support i can utilise to get this issue resolved. @saguaros are you able to help as you have helped me on issues previsouly. Thanks in advance to all you guys on the support forums you really go above and beyond.

Hi Paul,

I got the login info from this ticket: #ZWZ-532798

This issue relates to the menu assignment only, not SEO part, as by default in Joomla, when you click a link, it will redirect to the menu item page that the destination page belongs to.

When you click the reset password link, it will find the menu item for this type in Joomla but there was not this menu item type on your site so it displayed on homepage as you can see in the link: http://[websitename]/index.php?option=com_users&view=remind&Itemid=101 -- Itemid=101 here is the ID of homepage.

I just created a new menu item call 'Password Reset' under 'Author menu' on your site, it should redirect to this menu item page now.

Hi - Thank you for responding and creating a new menu ID. I can see it now links to http://lexopensource.com/index.php?option=com_users&view=reset&Itemid=167 but the page is still blank (i have refreshed the cache. I also needed a redirection for the forgotten username also. Sorry!

May I know which page is blank?

For the forgotten username redirection page, you can apply the same step by creating a new menu item type of User > Username Reminder Request: http://prntscr.com/kqr73p

That page is assigned to JA Builder, you can simply edit that page and add the content section there.
