JA Masthead problems

Hi,
I have several issues with the Masthead module in Alumni template.
JA Masthead module has the option for user to select the image which will be displayed in the Masthead module. The module has the predifined image size. However, the problem is when users add new Menu item in the module the Masthead image for some unknown reasons becomes enlarged. Please check the following website: http://www.iapchem.org/rsesee_dev_qs/index.php. Then you will notice under the menu item "About us" several pages. Two of them (Statute and Mission) have their menu items defined in the Masthead module and both of them are enlarged in comparison to the menu items which are not defined in the Masthead module.

So, what I need is something similar to my earler post related to Slideshow control:
1. How to control the size of the Masthead? I would like to decrease its height throughout the website.
2. How to control the font font size and font color of the Masthead title and Masthead description?
3. How to control the opacity of the Masthead?

1) You can add this in custom.css file and adjust padding 20px value accordingly

.t3-masthead .ja-masthead .ja-masthead-detail{padding: 20px 22px !important;}

2) Try add this again in custom.css file and change color code, font-size accordingly :

.t3-masthead .ja-masthead .ja-masthead-detail .ja-masthead-title{color: #ffffff !Important;font-size: 60px !important;} .t3-masthead .ja-masthead .ja-masthead-detail .ja-masthead-description{color: #ffffff !Important;font-size: 20px !important;}

You can let me know if these have worked so as to pursue further with third query 🙂

In addition to the third query, I have one additional question. Namely, at the moment I see that there is a default image placed in the Masthead. Where is it and how can I change it without selecting the image for each single menu item? Can I select one particular image which would be displayed for all pages in one Category and another image for the different Category?

Hi Zoran,

The default background image is: http://www.iapchem.org/rsesee_dev_qs/templates/ja_alumni/images/masthead.jpg

you can replace with your own image.

Unfortunately, at this moment, there is no option to set specific image for a category like that, you will need to add for each menu item in backend settings of JA Masthead module.

@zmand13 3. How to control the opacity of the Masthead?

Try add this in custom.css file and adjust opacity value accordingly :

.t3-masthead .ja-masthead::before {opacity: 0.89 !important;}

Note: The opacity property can take a value from 0.0 - 1.0. The lower value, the more transparent
