Ja Google Analytics error 401 fetching OAuth2 access token

Hi - I have downloaded the JA google analytics for joomla and configured the module (addedd in the API keys but when i try to get access code on the cpanel, i paste the code provided by google (removing any spaces) and when i click save access code i get the following error "401 Error fetching OAuth2 access token, message: 'invalid_client'" - any ideas?

Now getting when creating a new API
Error: Error calling GET https://www.googleapis.com/analytics/v3/management/accounts.......... (403) The request did not specify any referer. Please ensure that the client is sending referer or use the API Console to remove the referer restrictions.

Can you add your admin and ftp details in edit fields in order for us to take closer look.

Also, To be precise and troubleshoot, Kindly share screenshot of the specific error being shown on respective page

Hi - I have updated this information. I dont use FTP but go through go daddy's cpanel to upload and change files etc. Happy to give you the details.

The error message has disappeared now (disappeared the following day but there is no information pulling through from google. Looking at the google admin dashboard the fields are all blank.

You can kindly add your complete details in format outlined below in edit fields in order to take closer look :

Site admin account
Admin panel username/password
Ftp info (host, user, pass)
cPanel link, username/password

Also, As per steps outlined in documentation, Kindly complete with step followed by extract given thereafter :

When click on the "Authozie" link, you will be navigated to the dashboard page where you will see the access code box. Hit the "Get Access Code" link.

as I am unable to see this step completed. Ref: Screenshot

i have amended the edit fields - i dont have the ftp details as i said above.

I have done everything as per the documentation and got the access code link as per requirements.

Thanks for taking a look. If you want the go daddy cpanel details please let me know.

Would it be easier to forget the module and enter the Global Site Tag (gtag.js) tracking code for this property? if so i can provide this?

This still was not working but i copied the google analytics code into the custom code section of the ja builder template and the front end module now works? hey i am not arguing but i did not think this was necessary with a module . This post can be closed thanks 🙂
