December 19, 2015 at 9:57 pm #823186Hi. It is the second time I installed Ja Events II. And I installed in two different servers and in both I have a 1064 error when I create categories and articles.
In one server is this:
"1064 Você tem um erro de sintaxe no seu SQL próximo a ‘ANDsha1_hash

In other server is this
" 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near ‘ANDsha1_hash
= ‘d0333380fe38412edf91654e32b0acc7df7078b2′ LIMIT 0, 1’ at line 3 SQL=SELECT * FROMiezbl_ucm_history

= ‘d0333380fe38412edf91654e32b0acc7df7078b2’ LIMIT 0, 1"This second server was a test server and I changed for the official but it have this error. And I don’t know why have this error, because it’s a new database and I worked with quickstart install directly.
I hope somebody can help me

You can try to change the collation of database of your site via hosting to utf8_general_ci and re-install quickstart installation again, let me know if it helps

I changed the collation of database to utf8_general_ci and installed the quick start again and the error continues:

January 12, 2016 at 4:05 am #845061As I can see that there is not much update on your site so please try to download and install the Quickstart package of this template again. Here are some steps you can follow:
- Create a new database and set database collation to
utf8_general_ci
- Install Quickstart package but please INSTALL SAMPLE DATA (you can remove data later)
- In case that you don’t want to use sample data, please install Joomla package instead of quickstart package, then install JA Events II template and its complimentary extension.
Once done with installation, try to make change again and let me know how it goes.

January 15, 2016 at 4:18 am #848305I enabled the debug language from backend of your site and saw the language is not loading on your site, see the screenshot
I uploaded both files and you can get it and copy them into path below
templates/jaeventsii/language/en-GB/en-GB.tpl_jaeventsii.sys.ini language/en-GB/en-GB.tpl_jaeventsii.sys.ini templates/jaeventsii/language/en-GB/en-GB.tpl_jaeventsii.ini language/en-GB/en-GB.tpl_jaeventsii.ini

thank you again. But it’s not working. I saw the files and I copied again in the paths and nothing. It’s not load the language.
I’m having the problem of template in with JAEM too. And the ACM modules are not working as demo.
I believe I’ll erase everything and try to install the quick start again. And try to fix that 1064 error. Because now I having a lot of problems . And I’m really like of this template. It is i need now…

About the problem with JAEM component, pls give it a try again.
