February 15, 2015 at 5:37 am #203794I know you guys are busy with repairing the forums and you also have a holiday coming up so perhaps one of the members can answer my problems.
I am transferring a site to Joomla 3 and I am using Uber University
Background image will not display on masthead:
followed the instructions and read through this forum but can’t seem to get it to show. The code I have used is as follows:-
[Masshead Itemid="611,868,869,870,871,872,873,874,875,876,941,943,944,945,946,947,948,949,950,1008,1009.1010,1011,1012,1013,1014" background="images/joomlart/masthead/blog.jpg" title="InfoNet" ][/Masshead]
– but the masthead remains blue, however if you right click just under the writing on the masthead and select view background, its hows that the background image is there, but hidden somehow by the blue. You can test it here:-
http://scm-rpg.com.au/j336/news/infonet/headlines.htmlJomsocial Register Page will not display on Uber [University] Default
No matter what I do I can not get the Jomsocial registration to display in the Uber University default template, I had to download JA Sugite to use for Jomsocial registration.
….any clues?

February 17, 2015 at 10:05 am #559734Hi @tastiger,
1. About the Masshead module, please navigate to back-end >>> Extensions >>> Template Manager >>> choose your template >>> switch to tab General and temporary disable CSS Compression so I can have a look at the code.
Note : If you’re using another 3rd party extension to optimize CSS code, please temporary disable it too.
2. About the Jomsocial Register Page and Blog Factory’s editor problem, please provide a screenshot so I can try to reproduce the problem.

February 21, 2015 at 6:24 am #560171sorry I didn’t get a notification that there was a reply.
Optimise css has been turned off, jomsocial sign up seems to have rectified itself and screen shot of blog factory add item is below (not that there is a lot to see :))
Thanks in advance

February 27, 2015 at 3:54 am #560874Hi @tastiger,
Thanks for the back-end account but it’s a bit confuse in the front-end. First, I login to your site via Login button on the top right of site but after that there’s another login form right below the top banner on next screen. In addition, I couldn’t see any menu item like “User Menu” Update Blog, please recheck.

Are you using Internet Explorer ? – I just checked and there appears to be an issue with IE – seems as if one is unable to log in to the site when using Internet Explorer.
I just managed to login OK using Firefox and Chrome.
If you can try it with another browser and I will start a new thread about the IE issue.
Thanks for your help so far
