    1. How do I embed a windows media movie to automatically play on my site, like a wmv file?

    2. Also my newsflash is not working, I made sure that the files were chmod. What else am I missing?

    your newsflash run normal , it is default newsflash module of joomla , not ja newsflash module, why don’t use janewsflash in top position ?

    This is resolved, I figured out how to also add the wmv file to the site.
